This event will commemorate the hundredth anniversary of Abdu’l-Baha’s passing.
Abdu’l-Baha was the eldest son of Baha’u’llah, the Founder of the Baha’i Faith. Baha’u’llah, in honor of His own father, named His newborn son, ‘Abbas. But, in time, ‘Abbas chose to call Himself ‘Abdu’l-Baha, the “Servant of Baha,” and, through His life of service to humanity, became known as the living example and model of Baha’u’llah’s teachings.
Dr. Ray Zimmerman will be giving a talk entitled “The Faith of Love and the Mystery of God”.
Musical performances by Nhattien Tranle, Darya Houlihan, Bonny Williams, and Ursula Matlock.
Readings from sacred scriptures of different religions.
Closing with a discussion of whatever is on your mind.
